Technical Support Specialist Jobs - Truro, NS

The Colchester Regional Development Agency and New Brunswick-based knowledge management company Innovatia are looking for technical support specialists as the firm gets ready to expand and create new jobs in the Truro area.

“We have an immediate need to fill 20 to 30 positions in the Truro area with the possibility of more jobs within 12 months,” says Innovatia Organizational Development Manager Lynn Smith.

Smith says technical support specialists for tier one and tier two positions are needed. The new work is described as a business-to-business technical support service for a major North American technology company. Those hired will be expected to provide top quality support and trouble-shooting for information technology networks and associated hardware and software.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years of computer software and hardware experience. Training can be provided. The jobs are full-time, salaried positions and include a benefits package and bonus plan.

The head of the Colchester Regional Development Agency says it’s a great opportunity to bring technology jobs to the Truro-Colchester area.
